I am board-certified in adult psychiatry. In 2000–2004, I obtained a doctorate in medicine from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine after completing my residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago. I believe in a collaborative and holistic approach with patients in their journey toward healing.
I provide medication management services, crisis management, brief psychotherapy, and psychiatric evaluations to patients with a range of psychiatric diseases in community mental health settings, particularly geriatric patients and young adults.
I also performed psychiatric disability evaluations as well as psychiatric intake assessments and provided medication management services to patients with various psychiatric illnesses within the veteran population in an outpatient treatment setting.
In addition, I conduct crisis psychiatric assessments in the Crisis Stabilization Unit via telemedicine, which involves diagnosis and treatment planning.
